What is the Valentine’s Day Wedding Pop up?
The Pop Up Wedding Experience is the ultimate in stress-free wedding planning with a full ceremony experience to make your day extra special!
You and your fiancee arrive at a location we choose together. Whether it’s your hotel room, your home, backyard, a park, restaurant, you name it – we will transform it into your perfect wedding setting! You will enjoy a personalized heartfelt ceremony followed by an optional photo shoot with our professional photographer while sipping on champagne and basking in newlywed bliss!
This package is perfect for all couples! Newly engaged and not sure when you can plan a large wedding? Want a courthouse wedding but with something more? COVID planning fatigue set in and just want to be married? Can’t have a big wedding this year because of COVID but you want it official this year? Or you just want to renew your vows? This is for you!
You will get expert advice on obtaining your marriage license from the appropriate County Clerk’s office (as required) followed with official signatures and filing of the license after the ceremony. You will also have guidance after the ceremony to get your official certified copies!
The wedding site will be designed with romantic elegance in mind using your ideas and inspiration- we want to be sure to set the perfect setting for your day!
Options to add on include on site Hair and Make-up, Photographer, Videographer, and a Bouquet and Boutonnière (silk or real flowers), a Cut Cake, all which will be waiting for you in the bridal suite and all at a discounted price!
What to expect on your day
1. Arrive at your location
On the day of your wedding you will arrive at the venue at your wedding time. (Unless you choose to add on glam- then we will determine arrival time or if you are staying at the location we will arrive to you!) An on-site host brings you and your fiancee to the ceremony site where you will do final preparations for your ceremony, talk with your officiant about your ceremony details and hand over the marriage license. From there, you will go into the Bridal suite to prepare for the ceremony start. Our professional photographer will be waiting to capture every moment!
2. The ceremony
You’re invited to walk the aisle together or take a traditional approach- we can even accommodate the first look being at the alter! Jennifer will lead your 15 minute service, inviting you to exchange vows and rings. Relax and cherish this moment! Your photographer is capturing every beautiful moment.
3. Your mini reception
Enjoy a glass of champagne as you toast your new life together as a married couple, have your first dance, share your first piece of cake, enjoy each other and the guests you do decide to invite!
4. Wedding day photoshoot (optional)
From beautifully decorated photo sets to the most picture-perfect areas around the Starline, we have many backdrops to play with. Your photoshoot starts at the chapel, before moving onto photos around the property. Having photographed over a thousand weddings before, your photographer will suggest poses that help you have fun and relax in front of the camera. Your photographer will have you at ease behind the camera from the start!
5. Continue the celebrations
You will collect your items from the bridal suite before you can head to enjoy your wedding day together as married!
After your big day
While you’re enjoying being married, going on a mini-moon or honeymoon, or just getting back to life- if you choose to add on photography, our professional editing team works on perfecting your wedding images. This takes around 2-3 weeks. When they’re ready your photos are uploaded to a secure gallery and a link and password emailed to you. From here you can download and distribute the photos however you like.
Your marriage license will be filed with the County Clerk so they can process it. You will receive guidance on the steps you need to take to obtain your official marriage certificate for your files.

We have many venues to choose from- from the traditional banquet rooms to restaurants, but also the best part of a Pop Up Wedding is that it can be anywhere! Jennifer from Weddings by Jennifer Fox is on her 5th year of business officiating, planning and coordinating weddings. Even though she has performed over 350 ceremonies, she really will ensure that your ceremony is personalized, heartfelt and perfect for both of you- like a ceremony performed by an old friend! **Typical elopement service cost $350
Your Photographer **optional additional service
Your professional photographer will be there to catch all of the details. They will meet you where you are getting ready to catch photos from start to finish. You will feel special and at ease right away so your pictures will be stunning! You will consult with your photographer ahead of time to discuss expectations and pictures you would like to be sure are taken. After the big day, you will get access to your edits so there are no minimums on printing or extra costs that come up! Typical cost for a professional wedding photographer is well over $1,000– your cost will be much less! My photographer package starts at only $400! You also have the option to add on a videographer who will create a video you will watch for years to come!
Florist **optional additional service
Flowers make a statement on your day! You will have the option of a bouquet and boutonniere that are specifically made for you. You do have options of a silk keepsake bouquet, or fresh bouquet. Hair and Make up service **optional additional service
Your hair and Make up team will make sure you are photo ready! They will be sure your look and feel your best on such a special day. Their stylist will arrive at your getting ready location to pamper you in the bridal suite ahead of your ceremony to create your look and ensure you are ready to see your fiancee at the alter with your best look!

1. Can we personalize our ceremony?
Jennifer Fox of Weddings by Jennifer Fox will perform your ceremony. You will discuss with her your visions for your ceremony (religion, vows, etc) and work with you to ensure your ceremony is perfect even with such a quick timeframe.
2. How many guests can we have?
This pop up wedding service is ideal for couples wanting a true elopement experience without any guests. We are making an exception to allow you up to 4 guests. Unfortunately, no more than 4 guests besides you two are going to be allowed.
3. How many photos do we get?
A minimum of 75 edited images, accessible through a gallery which we send you a link and password to. All great photos are edited and included in this gallery – we don’t hold back! The only ones we get rid of are duplicates and ones where people have their eyes closed.
4. How can we get our marriage license?
Getting a marriage license is fairly easy. You start the process with an appointment with the McHenry County Clerk. You and your partner must visit the County Clerk and present ID to get your marriage license. You will need your license on Friday, February 12th or sooner. You then hand this to us on the day.
5. What happens if the weather is bad?
Starline Factory has a picture-perfect chapel that is inside. But inclement weather can be a lot of fun to play with in photos. It always adds character. Have you seen the snow shots from the Starline yet?
6. Will we have to wear masks?
You will have to wear masks to enter the Starline Factory. There will be more than enough room for social distancing from your officiant and photographer, so masks will not be required for the ceremony or during photos. Of course, we want everyone to feel comfortable so you can wear your mask at your discretion and we will disinfect between couples.

Only a limited number of services and photoshoots can be offered on February 14. (There are only so many hours in a day, we don’t want anyone feeling rushed plus we want to be sure to adhere to COVID precautions.)
